Mel is an illustration created for the Hope Watermelon Festival in 2019. Shawnee wanted to use shades of pink and green for this, but of course she wanted her main characters from her M.I.A. book series. Mel is matted with a black mat and framed in a light wood frame. This measures 8 inches by 10 inches.
